Deep fried coconut balls


Ingredients
  • Prawns 1/2kg
  • Egg 1
  • Corn flour 2tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 1tbsp
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Coconut powder 1 cup
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Finely chopped green chilies 2-3
  • Spring onions 1
  • Finely chopped capsicum ½
  • Finely chopped carrots 1 piece
  • Salt as required
  • Black pepper powder 1/4tsp
Method;-
  • Wash 1/2kg prawns and chop them in a food processor together with 1 spring onion,1tbsp oil, 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 egg,2tbsp corn flour, salt as required and 1/4tsp black pepper powder.Add ½ chopped capsicum, 1 piece of ginger,1 piece chopped carrot and 2-3 chopped green chilies to the prawn mixture and mix wellSpread the coconut powder on a plate.Shape the prawn mixture into medium sized dumplings and dredge in the coconut powderDeep fry the prawn balls until golden brown.Serve with ketchup or your favorite dip.
